Celebrate Independence Day in Allentown!

The city of Allentown certainly has a lot to offer when it comes to Independence Day celebrations! The Independence Celebration & Street Festival is a family-friendly celebration for the public. This event is held at Allentown’s J. Birney Crum Stadium every year. This year, it is taking place on Saturday, July 1, from 5:30 pm-10:15 pm. Admission to the event is free and the location is handicapped accessible. Many people visit Pennsylvania for this very celebration of America’s birth. It usually draws crowds of more than 10,000 people!

Delicious Foods

At the Fourth of July celebration in Allentown, you’ll have the opportunity to choose from a wide variety of tasty foods! Local and regional food vendors will be offering favorites including kettle corn, funnel cakes, hot dogs, smoothies, soft pretzels, sandwiches, tacos, nachos, and so much more. Many restaurants from the local area will probably be featuring special Independence Day menus.

The fireworks show is a tradition that many enjoy. An exciting live fireworks exhibit will be occurring on the evening of the Independence Day celebration. The show is set to music, and usually begins at approximately 9:00 pm.
