Cinderella’s Christmas by the Allentown Symphony Orchestra!

Cinderella's Christmas

Looking for something fun to do with the kids this month? On Saturday, Nov. 25 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. is Cinderella’s Christmas, hosted by the Allentown Symphony Orchestra at the Miller Symphony Hall. The play is presented by Kaleidoscope Theatre, a children’s theater company.

Cinderella’s Christmas is a musical adaptation that puts a holiday twist on a beloved classic. The music is beautiful, the costumes are gorgeous, and there is a lot of stage magic to enjoy. In fact, audience participation is encouraged, which makes the production fun for people of all ages.

To make the production even more fun, there will be pre-show activities in the Rodale Community Room for the kids starting at 12:30 p.m.

Part of the ‘Family Series’

Cinderella’s Christmas is a part of the Miller Symphony Hall’s “Family Series.” This series consists of shows and events that families can enjoy together. What makes this production special is that the Kaleidoscope Theatre has been delighting audiences since 1982. It is one of the longest-running theater groups that serve Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and other locations around New England.

Cinderella’s Christmas is filled with laughter, music, great characters, and colorful costumes. The entire family will remain entertained from the first minute to the last as Cinderella joins her mice friends in decorating a Christmas Tree. They will sing and dance their way through the production, particularly Cinderella’s conniving stepmother and her very mean stepsisters. Despite the disdain Cinderella’s family has for her, she is able to share the magic of the holidays.

In the meantime, Prince Charming is determined that he is to marry his dream girl on Christmas Eve. Of course, we know who his dream girl is. The prince’s father will have you laughing, tapping your feet, clapping your hands, and much more.

This is a play that shows that true love conquers all and the Christmas Spirit is alive in everyone. It is a magical experience for the kids that you have to see for yourself.

It’s Okay to Believe in Magic

When it’s all said and done, you’ll believe in magic. The tale is light-hearted, but it is also a great time.

This is just one of the great things that Allentown, Pennsylvania, has to offer residents and visitors. While you’re here, you can check out some of Allentown’s businesses, such as Scott Family of Dealerships, where you can find great new and used cars. There’s so much to do in Allentown that even Cinderella can appreciate it.
